    Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care.     At Wilcox Memorial Hospital, we offer the latest technological diagnosing and testing services so that patients can obtain the most accurate information about their health and our medical staff can design the best treatment plans. Our CAT Scan team is comprised of professional care providers and trained technicians who employ computerized axial tomography (CAT) technology, an imaging procedure that combines many X-ray images with the aid of a computer to generate cross-sectional views and, if needed, three-dimensional views of the internal organs and structures of the body.

     

    As the Imaging Assistant, you will help the Imaging Services department at Wilcox provide the highest quality diagnostic technology and service to our patients and their families. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and clinical support activities to the imaging program. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work with others in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** High School or equivalent. One (1) year hospital, clinic, doctor’s office, or related experience.

    **Preferred Qualifications:** Completion of a nurse aide or medical assistant program. Current BLS card. Previous experience in an Imaging Department. Data entry experience.
