    The Behavioral Health Division of the HPHMG is currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist who will be responsible for providing evaluation, clinical services, and consultation/liaison to patients and their health care providers at the SBMC’s Psychiatry and Psychology Outpatient Clinic. Responsibilities include providing consultation and liaison with patients hospitalized at SMBC, collaboration with medical specialties, and outpatient psychotherapy follow-up services for patients referred for a broad range of psychiatric concerns.

    Essential qualifications:

    + Doctoral level degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD, PsyD).

    + Must meet the education and training requirements for Hawaii State Licensing.

    Desirable skills and abilities:

    + Strong clinical experience and skills within a multi-disciplinary medical setting.

    + The capacity to manage a large caseload of patients with a complex range of medical and psychiatric concerns.

    + Prioritization of candidates with skills and experience in working with pediatric, geriatric, or specific areas of Health Psychology such as medical trauma or oncology care.

    + The ability to utilize the Electronic Health Records and coordinate with administrative support.

    + The ability to work well in a team.

    + Willingness to learn new skills that would benefit patients or program development.
