As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Coffee & Water Service Technician to join our dynamic service team.

     

    The Coffee & Water Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through the installation, maintenance, and repair of coffee and water equipment at client sites. This field-based role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a service-first mindset. You’ll be a key representative of the Five Star brand, delivering hands-on support to customers and ensuring their breakroom equipment performs at the highest level.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install, diagnose, and repair commercial-grade coffee brewers, water coolers, and filtration systems (including brands such as BUNN, Follett, and others) at customer locations.

    + Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce downtime.

    + Respond promptly and professionally to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs efficiently.

    + Maintain and manage parts inventory and tools within a clean and organized service vehicle.

    + Provide outstanding customer service by building strong relationships and clearly communicating technical information.

    + Accurately document service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions using service logs and digital tools.

    + Follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in diverse environments.

    Qualifications:

    + 1-2+ years of experience in field service, equipment repair, or technical support—experience with coffee or water systems is highly preferred.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.

    + Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing 50+ lbs and working in varying conditions (office spaces, warehouses, etc.).

    + Self-starter who thrives working independently and managing a daily schedule.

    + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    + Basic computer skills for using service software and documentation tools.
