Field Supervisor - Lorton

Transdev in Fairfax Countyis hiring a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor oversees day-to-day field operations. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

+ Starting pay $24.90 /hr

+ $26.15 /hr effective August 5, 2025.

+ Vacation: applicable after 1 year of service

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage Operators scheduling & staffing of routes.

+ Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.

+ Perform Operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and respond to situations, resolve operational issues.

+ Read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.

+ Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma, GED or equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience

+ Ability to secure a Class B CDL with a P endorsement.

+ Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

+ Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

+ The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

+ Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
