We are seeking a results-oriented Sr. HR Consultant - Employee Relations with a strong Generalist background, to join our People & Culture Operations Team. This talented individual will support our various businesses, with a focus on complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations.

This role will be based out of our Lisle, Illinois headquarters.

Responsibilities

+ Conducting employee investigations and employee relations, as well as a variety of generalist duties

+ Document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

+ Maintain accurate and complete records of all ER cases

+ Maintain good/consistent communication with manager and employee on pending cases

+ Interpret and drive consistency of HR policies and practices.

+ Work cross functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners, COEs, etc. across the company to plan and implement various initiatives and processes

+ Works closely with site leaders to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently administered with all employees.

+ Lead change

+ Project management of key cross functional programs and priorities

+ Analyze data to drive critical business decisions

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ At least 8 years of human resources experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

+ Master’s degree

+ At least 6 years of human resources experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

+ At least 10 years of human resources experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

+ Experience independently handling employee relations investigations and cases

+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, possibly conflicting priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment

+ Excellent problem solving and timely decision-making experience

+ Excellent communication and documentation skills and follow-up

+ Ability to build relationships and act as a liaison when necessary

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

+ Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

+ Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

+ Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
