    **Location:** Pueblo, CO

    **Rate:** $19.00/HR

    **Available Schedule:** Mon & Tues:12PM - 8:15PM

     

    At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

    What Your Day May Look Like:

    + Greet customers and client employees.

    + Ask valued customers for receipts when prompted by client and/or Asset Protection.

    + Conduct internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.

    + Monitor entrance / exits, and customers, provides guidance as needed and assists Asset Protection with information gathering.

    + Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system.

    + Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employee's and management know their needs are being met.

    + Present a good image to the client, client employee's and customers.

    + Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property.

    + Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others.

    + Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.

    + Act to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.

    + Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

    Position Requirements:

    + 18 years of age or older.

    + High School Diploma or GED Required.

    + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

    + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

    + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

    + Must have the ability to stand on feet for prolonged periods.

    + Must understand the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.

    + Must have Swing shift availability.

    + Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

    + Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.

    + Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.

    + Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and computers, camera monitoring, and reporting alarms.

    + Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Asset Protection, and Office Management.

    + Must be open to communication and feedback from client employees and Office Management.

    + Must be able to stand for majority of shift, take 15-minute breaks, and adhere to lunch period.

    + Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.

    + Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.

    + Mut be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and professional, and check customer receipts.

    + Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.

    + Must provide high quality customer service in-person, over the phone, and via radio.

    + Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License, and a clean driving record.

    + Must be able to obtain Pueblo Guard Card license and maintain it every year.

    + Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.

    + Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus!
