    Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a mid-level model-based systems engineering (MBSE) modeler for military systems development projects. The successful candidate will be have in depth knowledge of Cameo System Modeler or similar tools and SysML/UML modeling languages. The candidate will need to become a key contributor to the development of mission-critical, real-time military software applications and/or interfaces across all phases of the system development lifecycle.

    What you will be doing:

    + Work with cross functional teams to support commercial and government projects using analytical and problem-solving skills to generate system models characterizing software and hardware functionality.

    + Be a part of a team developing new approaches to using MBSE to speed software delivery timelines.

    + Support software research under Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs to integrate new technologies and applications to develop new military and commercial capabilities.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree

    + Three years of MBSE experience

    + Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*

    Desired qualifications include:

    + Experience using MBSE Tools (No Magic Cameo System Modeler, Rhapsody, etc.)

    + Expertise with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Modeling Language (UML)

    + Experience in software requirements and design documentation, architecture definition and/or software integration

    + Experience in cloud orchestration technologies

    + Familiarity with switch network configuration file generation

    + Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*

    *Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
