The National Security Sector currently has an opening for an **Entry Level Software Engineer** to work in our Orlando, Florida office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your abilities and experience to support the Virtual Training Portfolio mission of providing immersive real-time training systems to enhance tactical capability for our U.S. government customers.

Successful candidates will have direct knowledge of the Gunnery Training System (GTS) in support of our customer in creating military training capabilities and providing both technical services and subject matter expertise. You will be providing software support to the backend updates to modernize the gunnery training for the Abrams Gunnery Exercise Update (AGEU).

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for a variety of engineering applications.

+ Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.

+ Assist in developing tools and interfaces.

+ Assist in design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.

+ Assist in setting operational specifications to formulate and analyze software requirements.

+ Assist in designing embedded systems software.

+ Analyze user needs; develop and design software solutions

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with at least 1 year experience in simulation software development.

+ 6 months or greater software development experience with C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 6 months or greater software development experience with Ada and/or Java languages.

+ 6 months or greater experience using Agile software development methodologies, configuration management tools, and processes.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
