The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for proactive and reliable Junior Information Technology Specialists to join our team in support of the Maritime Industrial Base Program. You will assist with data entry, system migration, and task tracking to ensure IT systems comply with information assurance (IA) and security requirements. This role will support the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes for both new and existing IT systems, maintaining system security and integrity while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Must be willing to work onsite in either Washington, DC or Bryan, TX (College Station, TX area).
Responsibilities:
• Perform data entry and track tasks to ensure accurate records and compliance.
• Assist with data migration, ensuring integrity and adherence to security standards.
• Monitor system migration processes, ensuring timely completion and security compliance.
• Support the documentation and validation of IT systems to meet IA and security requirements.
• Assist with accreditation processes, ensuring proper documentation and validation.
• Help mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Maintain records and tracking logs for audit purposes and compliance monitoring.
• Assist with troubleshooting and system updates under senior IT staff guidance.
Qualifications:
_Required:_
• Eligible to acquire a SECRET clearance; preference for candidates with one. **_(US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)_**
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS); Up to 3 years of experience in IT systems, security, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, with experience in data entry, migration, and systems tracking.
• Ability to track tasks and systems effectively to meet deadlines and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
_Desired:_
• Familiarity with systems migration best practices and data integrity.
• Basic knowledge of IT security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience with security compliance tools for monitoring systems and data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$48,300-$96,600
