+ Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

+ Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

+ Regular attendance and punctuality

+ Perform basic micro lab techniques/analyses or prepare media, based on job function

+ Enter data into computer system, ELN

+ Maintain/calibrate equipment

+ Perform destruct runs

+ Prepare and wash glassware

+ Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

+ BS in Sciences (Microbiology or Chemistry Preferred)

+ Basic understanding of: Media preparation, pipetting, organism/culture preparation, serial dilution, aseptic technique, Gram stains.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

+ Previous experience within a lab setting, GMP experience preferred

+ Attention to detail; able to do repetitive work

+ Read/follow written instructions; organize/prioritize workload

+ Able to work with others; perform multiple tasks simultaneously; organized and logical thinking (i.e., intuitiveness, deductive reasoning); flexibility; function under medium stress level

+ Time management, organization, and communication skills

Working schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm. 25% travel may be required for this position. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
