The TRIO and CSTEP programs provide comprehensive support services to underrepresented students intended to maximize the learning experience and successful outcomes. Incoming freshmen have the opportunity to participate in an intensive 2-week, residential summer bridge program intended to help ensure a successful transition to college life and academia. Program components include college readiness initiatives, academic enrichment, community building and personal development. As a key part of the summer bridge program, the Summer On-Site Coordinator will provide support and guidance to students as they navigate this intensive pre-college experience.
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to fill the role of On-site Supervisor for the 2025 Summer Bridge program. This position is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a group of 40 incoming freshman students and 5 FSC Peer Advisors while residing on campus for the duration of the program. As the resident supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and success of participants during their summer program experience.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist with student outreach and final preparations for program operation.
+ Reside in the campus residence hall for the duration of the 2-week program (July 6-18, 2025).
+ Assist in the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the pre-freshman summer bridge program for up to 40 TRIO and CSTEP students.
+ Provide training and supervision to temporary FSC student staff of up to 5 peer advisors.
+ Provide supervision and counsel to program participants, as appropriate and assigned (primarily during evening hours and daytime off-campus trips).
+ Provide creative and safe entertainment options for on-campus evening activities and conduct workshops to supplement student education and orientation.
+ Help secure student safety by ensuring that students observe daily curfew and comply with campus policies and procedures throughout the duration of the program.
+ Other related responsibilities as assigned by Program Director.
This position runs four weeks, with a live-in requirement from July 6 - July 18, 2025. Housing and meals will be provided during this two-week residential part of the program.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, School Counseling, or a related field.
+ Previous experience working with students, preferably in a residential or academic setting.
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to be a supportive and approachable role model for students.
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
+ Must be available to reside on campus for the full duration of the residential part of the program (July 6 - July 18, 2025).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Experience with provision of support services for students in preparation of transition to college life and academia.
Additional Information:
This is a Temporary, four-week Research Foundation position.

+ SALARY: Total salary for the four-week position is $3,500. Salary may increase commensurate with experience.
