    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an **Activities Therapist** to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

    Activities Therapist Position Details

    + **Facility:** BayCare Health System, AMH CSU-BHA

    + **Location:** Behavioral Hlth King Helie Adult

    + **Status:** Full Time, Exempt: No

    + **Shift Hours:** 8:00am - 4:30pm

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities - Activities Therapist:

    + Evaluate and develop specific treatment programs for individual patients and residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of recreational therapy.

    + Conduct facility group and individual activities and recreational therapy interventions and all other duties as assigned.

    + Provide appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions/services as it relates to Activities Therapy.

    + Provide assessment, monitoring, planning, and advocacy for adults and children experiencing acute mental health and/or substance abuse issues in an acute care inpatient setting as it relates to Activities Therapy.

    + Provide support as an active member of the treatment team. Conduct psychotherapeutic groups.

    Education:

    + **Required:** Bachelor's Degree

    + **Preferred:** Bachelor's in Recreational Therapy

    Experience:

    + **Required:** 1 year of Behavioral Health
