This position will be responsible for oversight and accountability for the Therapeutic Services Core of the Shaffer Cognitive Empowerment Program at Emory's Goizueta Brain Health Institute.The ideal candidate will have a background in physical and/or mental healthcare for persons living with mild cognitive impairment and/or dementia, with a working knowledge of lifestyle interventions that promote brain health during the aging process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
+ ~70% of role - The Therapeutics Services (TS) Project Director will have direct supervisory responsibility for Health Educators and other lead staff within the core (typically up to 4-5 individuals) with overall supervisory responsibility of the TS Core team, which is composed of both Emory and contracted employees (mix of part and full time staff).
+ Additional duties include: oversight of contractor hiring process, central liaison to internal and external stakeholders, oversight of quality for member/patient/family services.
+ Development and management of TS Core Strategic Plan and oversight of subsequent project plans to achieve TS/programming goals. Ensures team accountability for quality programming and timely completion of project plan activities.
+ TS Project Director will work directly with CEP Faculty Director and administrative leadership and support CEP Program strategic planning for curriculum development and deployment.
+ Works with program Evaluator to ensure appropriate and timely reporting for TS Core daily operations and success metrics.
+ ~30% of role -The Project Director will create and deliver direct programming for CEP members in at least one programming domain, per the candidate's specific area of expertise/interest.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A bachelor's degree and five years of project management or related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
+ Proficiency with various computer software packages.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
