Summary:

We are actively seeking exemplary candidates to join CED’s Project Manager Training Program. We provide the tools and training for learning the ins and outs of one of the nation’s fastest growing industries. In this approximate 12-month rotational position, you will be exposed to various roles in each facet of the company, gaining experience in Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Account Management, Purchasing, Office Operations and more! The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives. This role is intended to provide the tools and training for being a successful Project Manager within the company. Some Project Manager responsibilities look as such:

Serve as the primary internal liaison between the sales team, logistics, procurement, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle

Coordinate the development and delivery of equipment quotes and procurement schedules for large-scale solar projects

Track and manage key project milestones, including contract execution, equipment orders, delivery schedules, and client communications

Review technical project documents and BOMs to ensure product compatibility and completeness

Collaborate with vendors and logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries

Maintain CRM and project management tools with updated project timelines, changes, and progress reports

Anticipate and mitigate risks related to inventory, shipping delays, or specification changes

Support the sales team with project documentation, RFP responses, and pre-sales technical coordination as needed

Reports to: Sales Operations Manager/ PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

+ Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

+ Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Strong attention to detail and time management

+ Ability to solve complex problems

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the trainee’s current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office, and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments may include some travel; both by car and by air.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Learning all aspects of the CED business

+ Attending classes online as well as in-person at various locations

+ On the job training and mentoring

+ Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with customers and vendors

+ Goal planning with PC Manager, Sales Manager and Senior Project Manager

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $22 hourly.
