    Overview

     

    We are seeking anUltrasound Technologist, internally referred to as our Ultrasound Technician or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer . As our Ultrasound Tech your will assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN.

     

    Shift’s Available: varied

     

    Employment Type:per diem/PRN

     

    Hours:8 hour

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams

    + ensures proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation

    + positions patient and equipment to produce an appropriate recording

    + responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + ARDMS certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain

    + graduate an accredited ultrasound program with current certification or graduation within 90 days of hire

    + current BLS (AHA) certificate

    Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

    + current/previous experience

    + proficient computer skills
