    Job Description

    nsight Global is looking to hire a Plant Engineering Technician to support their client. This role will focus on installation, system upkeep, and operational functionality while ensuring appropriate records are maintained.

     

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Under limited supervision, general direction, and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and company procedures and guidelines, this position:

    Oversees operational systems, which may involve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components

     

    Performs installation, setups, and changeovers of machinery

     

    Tests and adjusts as needed

     

    Troubleshoots and restores function to malfunctioning systems

     

    Identifies and implements process improvements

     

    Updates required documentation, including service and restoration logs

     

    Assists with trouble report preparation for malfunctioning systems

     

    Reads and interprets technical manuals and work orders to perform required service

     

    Applies safety procedures to all work

     

    Orders parts and supplies in accordance with department procedures

     

    Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level

     

    Performs other duties assigned as needed

     

    The compensation for this role varies between $28/HR and $33/HR depending on skillset, education and experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    1-3 years of work experience

    Required Qualifications:

    Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

     

    Relevant hands-on experience and/or training

     

    Able to work in an ISO Class 8 Clean Room environment requiring gowning

     

    Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer)

     

    Able to provide personal handheld instruments (i.e., screwdrivers, socket wrenches, etc.)

     

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations & Engineering

     

    Capable of lifting heavy loads, standing or walking more than 90% of the time, and performing twisting and turning activities in a controlled environment Training in machining operations and/or electrical/electronic applications

     

    Clean room experience is a plus

    Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings, electrical, and pneumatic schematics null
