Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with extensive experience in Vue.js, Node.js/Express.js, Python and AWS services to join our dynamic development Cloud Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while leveraging AWS cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Vue.js, Node.js/Python.

Develop and optimize serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.

Implement Compliance and security mechanisms using AWS IAM.

Improve the enterprise Cloud Platform through implementation of custom preventative and responsive controls

Collaborate with application teams and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to infrastructure deployment patterns and best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application security.

Ensure security and compliance best practices are integrated into AWS deployments.

Monitor and optimize AWS cost be applying AWS FinOps principles.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development (platform engineering background not strictly app dev)

Strong expertise in Vue.js (Vue 2/3), Vuex, Pinia, and Vue Router

Proficiency in backend development with Node.js, Express.js and Python

Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools: building Terraform modules

Extensive experience with AWS services including Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, and RDS *specifically AWS IAM and FinOps*

Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices

Experience with modern development workflows, including Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills null
