Job Description
Job Description Summary
The Program Aide in agribusiness, behavioral economics, experimental economics, neuroeconomics or related fields, for the Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture (IHA), in collaboration with the Texas A&M University Human Behavior Laboratory (HBL), conducts research on decision making and choice process broadly defined, including but not limited to topics related to technology and innovation adoption, Responsive agriculture, nutrition, and health.
Responsibilities
+ Conducts collaborative research at HBL under the direction of Dr. Marco Palma and faculty affiliated with HBL and IHA.
+ Actively participates in the design, implementation, and data analysis of incentivized experiments in the lab, field, and online.
+ Develops a strong research portfolio and publication track-record.
+ Supports research and operations of the human behavior laboratory.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ Studies conducive to a higher education level in economics, agricultural economics, applied economics with emphasis in behavioral economics, experimental economics, neuroeconomics, or related fields.
+ Strong interest and previous experience in economics and commitment to pursue high-quality research.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
+ Experience using biosensors, including eye tracking, EEG, facial expressions to assess emotions, and galvanic skin response.
