    **Job Title:** Content and Documentation Specialist

    **Location:** Spring, TX

    **Duration:** 3-Month Contract

    **Pay rate:** 25-30/hr

    **Job Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Content and Documentation Specialist to support the Virtual Management Office (VMO) in collecting, cleaning, and organizing various information for publishing. This temporary role will involve the creation of workflows, standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation, and assisting in organizing document repositories on SharePoint and the intranet site. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in documentation management, content publishing, and process design.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Collect, clean, and organize various data and information for publication within the VMO.

    + Develop workflows and process maps (e.g., using Visio or similar tools) to streamline operations and ensure consistency.

    + Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity and uniformity in business processes.

    + Assist in organizing and maintaining document repositories on SharePoint and the company intranet site, ensuring easy access to key documents.

    + Support content readiness for web publication, ensuring that information is presented clearly and in line with organizational standards.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant content and ensure accuracy.

    + Help ensure that all documents are properly versioned, archived, and accessible for the appropriate stakeholders.

    + Ensure consistency in documentation formatting and style across platforms.

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in document management, content publishing, or related roles.

    + Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and intranet management.

    + Proficiency with Visio or similar tools for process mapping and workflow creation.

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Prior experience in a VMO or similar operational environment is a plus.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with content management systems and web publishing tools.

    + Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.

    + Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
