    Intune Engineer / Intune, SCCM / Onsite / Houston, TX

     

    Our client is one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions. Based in Houston, TX, this resource would be joining the company as an Intune Engineer on a contractual basis.

     

    In this position, you’ll be joining a company who serves more than half of the Fortune 500 Companies by offering solutions and services like janitorial, electrical, energy, and parking solutions to various industries, including commercial real estate, education, and aviation.

     

    Contract Duration: 6+ Months, potential to extend or convert

    Required Skills & Experience

    + **Device Enrollment:** Experience in enrolling Windows devices using various methods (Autopilot, BYOD, Group Policy, or SCCM etc.).

    + **Security Management:** Implementing security baselines, managing BitLocker encryption, and configuring endpoint protection.

    + **Windows Autopilot:** Building, configuring, deploying Windows Autopilot solutions and its associated prerequisites for Hybrid and Entra Join Only scenarios.

    + Infrastructure Management: Understanding SCCM site hierarchy, roles, and components.

    + Operating System Deployment (OSD): Building and deploying OS images using task sequences.

    + Workload Transition: Knowing how to transition workloads between SCCM and Intune.

    + Conditional Access: Configuring conditional access policies that leverage both Intune and SCCM data.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + PowerShell: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating tasks, managing configurations, and troubleshooting issues.

    + Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Intune and Azure Administrator (+)

    Daily Responsibilities

    + Design and implement Microsoft Intune and Workspace One solutions for endpoint management, including device enrollment, policy configuration, and application deployment.

    + Implement security policies and configurations to ensure the protection of endpoints through Intune and Workplace One.

    + Package and deploy applications using Intune and/or Workplace One, ensuring proper distribution and version control.

    + Create and manage configuration profiles to enforce settings and restrictions on devices.

    + Manage patching and updates for Intune and Workplace One managed devices and applications.
