Experienced CNC Machine Operator

Our client in Fairbury, IL is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team as experienced CNC Machine Operators.

+ $22.00/hour depending on experience

+ Full time 1st shift

+ Clean and safe work environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ **Machine Operation:** Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.

+ **Programming:** Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct functions.

+ **Material Handling:** Load raw materials and parts onto the machines and set machine parameters according to specifications.

+ **Quality Control:** Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

+ **Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance and daily inspections on CNC machinery to ensure functionality.

+ **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Skills and Qualifications:

+ **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools.

+ **Experience:** Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience in CNC operations.

+ **Analytical Skills:** Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents, blueprints, and drawings.

+ **Computer Skills:** Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.

+ **Attention to Detail:** Keen eye for detail and strong mechanical aptitude.
