    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Java Spring Boot Developer** with strong experience in **AWS Architecture** and **Kafka Streaming** . This role is ideal for professionals located in the US East or Central time zones, with a preference for candidates in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable backend services and have a strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, develop, and maintain backend services using **Java Spring Boot**

    + Architect and implement solutions in **AWS** to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance

    + Integrate and manage **Kafka** streaming pipelines to support real-time data processing

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements

    + Contribute to the design and implementation of **microservices-based** architectures

    + Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

    + Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

    Required Skills:

    + **Java Spring Boot (P4)** – Advanced proficiency in developing production-grade applications

    + **AWS Architecture (P3)** – Proficient in designing cloud-native solutions using core AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM)

    + **Kafka Streaming (P3)** – Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Kafka producers/consumers, topics, and streaming concepts

    Nice to Have:

    + **Microservices (P3)** – Experience designing and deploying services in a microservices architecture

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

    + 5+ years of professional backend development experience

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
