About the team
Join our team building serverless applications using Python, React/TypeScript, Java and C#. We maintain high code quality with 90% test coverage and full CI/CD automation, operating in two-week agile sprints.
We drive data-driven decision-making across WWGDT and Whole Foods Market through innovative technology solutions. You'll tackle unique challenges that reshape the grocery industry while collaborating with diverse teams.
Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React/TypeScript

- Infrastructure: Serverless architecture
You'll contribute to Amazon and Whole Foods Market's mission of nourishing people and the planet while experiencing our unique combined tech culture.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- AWS services experience (Computing: EC2, Lambda; Storage: S3, RDS, Aurora, Redshift; Messaging: SNS/SQS)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
