    Job Description:

    Provides group and individual educational services related to nutrition and wellness as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Performs nutrition assessments and care plans to patients in the acute care, hospital setting, including nutrition support, malnutrition diagnosis, and nutrition counseling. Works with a team of other dietitians in an environment that encourages learning and growth in knowledge. The incumbent must perform all duties in a manner that contributes to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

    Education Qualifications:

    No educational requirements.

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    Registered or registry-eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS Credential).

     

    Upon completion of 90 days of employment must be able to pass the competency test related to nutrition order writing privileges.

     

    Must be eligible to be licensed with the State of Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice
