About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Technology Finance team within the Commercial Bank’s Sponsor Credit group, an industry leader in delivering innovative financing solutions. This role will be part of a dedicated team responsible for underwriting and executing new financing transactions within the software/technology vertical.
In this role, you will:
+ Assist with the underwriting and execution of financing transactions, including completion of due diligence, financial modeling, credit analysis, and drafting credit approval memorandums.
+ Analyze a wide range of detailed information (lender presentations, management presentations, and financial statements & projections, third party reports, etc.).
+ Coordinate the due diligence process, including third party due diligence (Quality of Earnings, background investigation reports, etc.).
+ Participate in diligence meetings with prospective clients and communicate key takeaways from the meeting to senior management.
+ Aid in the presentation of transactions to senior management in a clear and concise manner with well-reasoned support.
+ Review all pertinent documentation to ensure transactions are documented and approved per policy.
+ Coordinate the loan closing logistics and oversee onboarding of new clients, coordinate introductions and account handoff to portfolio management teams.
+ Help with the development and execution of Technology Finance and company-wide strategic initiatives, via specialized project work and/or assignment.
Required Qualifications, US:
+ 4+ years of Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience in sponsor finance at a commercial bank, investment bank or finance company
+ Excellent proficiency in accounting and financial modeling
+ Strong analytical skills, with heightened attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Job expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
+ This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule
