    As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding its staff and seeking a Journeyman Electricianto join the FSG - Corpus Christi team.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Journeyman Electrician Description:

    Journeyman electricians are responsible for conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting in a variety of work areas. They must always follow strict safety procedures to prevent workplace incidents, and often use tools such as pliers and screwdrivers to disconnect equipment.

    Journeyman Electrician Tasks:

    + Install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.

    + Troubleshoot motor and controls.

    + Layout and prepare equipment for installation.

    + Install feeder wires.

    + Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or General Education Degree

    + MUST have Current State Journeyman Electricians License

    + MUST be able to pass a background screen

    + Valid drivers license

    + Ability to multitask while staying organized

    + Strong verbal and written communications skills

    + Positive customer service skills

    + Experience in lighting a plus!
