    Whim Hospitality is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Activities Coordinator to lead and facilitate outdoor and recreational activities for our guests at Camp Lucy.     Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Camp Lucy is a premier resort and event venue offering luxury accommodation, world-class dining, and unforgettable experiences. Our activities team plays a crucial role in creating engaging and memorable experiences for guests through outdoor adventures, team-building exercises, and recreational programs.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Activity Planning & Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and lead a variety of exciting activities, including archery, fishing, hiking, axe throwing, wine and whiskey tastings, team-building events, and seasonal programming.

    + Guest Engagement: Provide excellent guest service by ensuring that all activities are safe, fun, and engaging. Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times.

    + Equipment Management: Set up, break down, and maintain activity equipment and areas, ensuring everything is in top condition for guest use.

    + Safety Education: Educate guests on safety guidelines and ensure the proper use of equipment, fostering a safe and enjoyable environment.

    + Creative Development: Assist in developing new and creative activity offerings to enhance the guest experience.

    + Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless and memorable experiences for our guests.

    What We're Looking For:

    + Experience: Prior experience in recreation, outdoor education, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

    + Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    + Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests.

    + Physical Ability: Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Personality: Outgoing personality with a passion for guest engagement and creating memorable experiences.

    + Flexibility: A flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
