Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and supporting the company’s financial operations. Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy in all entries.

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements, promptly addressing any discrepancies or irregularities.

• Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, scheduling payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.

• Oversee accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

• Maintain the general ledger and assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.

• Coordinate payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.

• Organize and prepare documents for tax filings while collaborating with external accountants or tax professionals.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance bookkeeping efficiency and accuracy.

• Support administrative tasks such as budget preparation, financial documentation, and expense tracking.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage time effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with payroll processes and month-end close procedures is a plus.
