Description

A terrific law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, and financing. The role involves document preparation and review, title research, due diligence, closing coordination, and regulatory compliance. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex commercial real estate transactions independently. This role does have some administrative aspects and is hybrid in office!

Requirements

Responsibilities:

+ Draft and review contracts, deeds, mortgages, and closing documents

+ Conduct title searches, resolve title issues, and coordinate with title companies

+ Perform due diligence and review zoning, land use, and environmental regulations

+ Manage closings, including document preparation, fund transfers, and scheduling

+ Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all transactions

+ Maintain escrow accounts and prepare escrow-related documentation

+ Organize and maintain legal files and documents

+ Communicate with clients, attorneys, lenders, and external parties

+ Provide legal administrative support and manage attorney calendars, filings, and deadlines

+ Minimum 5 years of real estate paralegal experience

+ Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law and procedures

+ Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management systems

+ Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

+ Paralegal certification preferred

+ Notary license required

+ College degree or equivalent experience
