Description

We are looking for a bilingual Senior Accountant to join our team in Cary, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to manage office operations, oversee client relationships, and support small business clients, many of whom are part of the Hispanic community. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in public accounting, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the office, including personnel management and workflow coordination.

• Provide in-depth accounting services to small business clients, including tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial analysis.

• Perform reconciliations for accounts, bank statements, and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and general ledger updates.

• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Deliver exceptional client service by building strong relationships and addressing client needs promptly.

• Conduct training sessions for staff to improve their skills and knowledge in accounting practices.

• Collaborate with clients to develop financial strategies tailored to their business goals.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferably from a U.S. university.

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.

• Familiarity with financial reporting, tax preparation, and month-end close processes.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and fluid work environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client service and team collaboration.
