    Description

    Seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing tech company in Dallas! This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of public accounting or industry revenue accounting experience.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Manage the accounting for revenue streams, including reconciling automated processes and preparing journal entries for manual transactions.

    + Review contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition aligns with ASC 606 standards.

    + Prepare monthly reconciliations, supporting schedules, and other required reporting packages.

    + Conduct annual revenue recognition analysis, updating memos and workpapers as needed.

    + Collaborate with IT and Insights teams to enhance automation within revenue accounting processes.

    + Partner with Product and Operations teams to assess the accounting treatment for new products and operationalize revenue recording.

    + Work with compliance, internal audit, and external audit teams to maintain controls over revenue processes.

    + Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses for stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA preferred

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally in public accounting or a public company environment

    • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
