Description We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role involves leveraging your expertise in financial analysis and reporting to support key stakeholders in budgeting and expense management. The ideal candidate will excel in creating insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring the delivery of accurate and actionable financial insights.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with Program VPs to manage budgets, track expenses, and provide comprehensive financial insights.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly financial reports to highlight trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational planning.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in budgeting processes, including forecasting and expense tracking.
• Utilize Blackbaud software to streamline financial data management and reporting tasks.
• Provide recommendations based on financial data to drive cost efficiency and organizational improvements.
• Monitor financial performance and identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of enhanced financial reporting tools and processes. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial planning.
• Familiarity with Blackbaud software is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
