Description
Robert Half is hiring! We are looking for a detail-oriented Systems Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will not only maintain and document software functionality but also integrate new systems with the existing ones. You will also be tasked with evaluating new technologies for implementation and managing projects.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain, support, and document software functionality to ensure smooth operations
• Implement new systems while ensuring seamless integration with existing ones
• Evaluate potential new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation
• Handle project planning and management to ensure successful execution of initiatives
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for the implementation of new software platforms
• Determine the operational feasibility of proposed solutions through thorough analysis
• Work closely with both technical and non-technical staff to gather and document business requirements
• Recommend changes in policies and procedures to improve operations following systems analysis
• Keep abreast with the latest development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment to update job knowledge
• Ensure the confidentiality of operations to protect crucial information
• Provide technical guidance to business users for the effective use of systems and applications
• Document and maintain software functionality for future reference.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst in the Wholesale Distribution industry.
• Proficient in SQL Server with the ability to write, analyze, and debug SQL code.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Strong understanding and experience with relational databases.
• Demonstrated ability to identify system inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
