    Job Overview:

    The IV Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involving mixing sterile products in a clean room, including chemotherapy, dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups (includes geriatrics, adults, adolescents, pediatric and neonatal). They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment with strong multitasking skills. Work and/or performance shall conform to written established policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

    Preferred:

    + IV Certified pharmacy technician preferred.

    + One year of IV pharmacy experience is preferred.

    Certifications and Licenses Required:

    + New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Registration, or obtained within six months of the start date as a Pharmacy Technician.

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Full-time, Day

    + Should be available to work on weekends and/or weekdays.
