Description
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our North America Communications team on a contract basis. In this role, you will develop engaging content to enhance our brand presence and oversee key social media channels. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to manage digital tools and ensure our messaging aligns with company goals. This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a content strategy that showcases the company’s brand and culture, working closely with team members and stakeholders to create compelling digital assets.
• Manage the region’s LinkedIn presence and explore opportunities to revitalize other social media platforms as needed.
• Oversee digital planning tools like Oktopost, Monday.com, and editorial calendars to streamline content management and scheduling.
• Monitor social media engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure that all written and visual content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a high level of accuracy.
• Collaborate on broader North America communication initiatives to support organizational goals.
• Stay current with social media trends and best practices to enhance strategy and execution.
• Maintain organized content repositories and ensure easy accessibility for the team.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or a related field.
• 2-4+ years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a global corporate or agency setting.
• Strong creative writing skills and meticulous attention to detail for crafting engaging and accurate content.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram, as well as emerging trends.
• Proven experience supporting corporate initiatives through social media campaigns.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage programs, track progress, and facilitate stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Monday.com.
• A collaborative mindset with a positive, adaptable, and growth-oriented attitude.
