Description We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team in Concord, California. In this role, you will handle a diverse range of legal matters, from initial case assessments to resolution, while contributing to the success of our litigation team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases from inception to final resolution, ensuring all legal procedures are followed.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and motions.

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

• Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, including hearings and trials.

• Collaborate with team members to develop effective case strategies and solutions.

• Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns.

• Analyze legal issues involving public entities and provide sound recommendations.

• Prepare and present compelling arguments in court to achieve favorable outcomes.

• Stay updated on legal developments and apply them to casework. Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the State Bar with active good standing.

• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation or related legal practice.

• Strong skills in drafting motions and other legal documents.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive legal research.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.

• Knowledge of public entity law is a plus.
