Description We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Specialist to join our Retail Loan Servicing team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial services industry by ensuring loan processes meet quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and timely reviews of loans in accordance with established department procedures and guidelines.

• Identify and escalate delays or quality control concerns to team leads or management for resolution.

• Proactively suggest process improvements and contribute to implementing solutions that enhance team efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with loan servicing team members, other departments, and customers through both written and verbal channels.

• Stay informed about current loan servicing regulations to ensure compliance.

• Support additional departmental tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.

• Uphold compliance with all relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal policies to minimize risk and maintain ethical standards. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional banking certifications are a plus.

• Previous experience in banking, lending, or loan servicing is preferred.

• Strong customer service skills, particularly in high-volume transaction environments.

• Familiarity with core loan processing systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
