    Description

    We are looking for an experienced HR/Payroll Generalist to join our team in the Hospitality industry, in the western suburbs of Illinois. The HR Generalist will manage a variety of tasks related to payroll, HRIS administration, and other HR activities. The role is designed to ensure efficient HR operations, compliance with relevant regulations, and the maintenance of positive employee relations.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage day-to-day payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing

    • Utilize HRIS for administration purposes, ensuring data accuracy and efficient operations

    • Support various HR activities as needed, contributing to overall team goals and objectives

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations relating to payroll and HR operations

    • Maintain positive employee relations through effective communication and problem resolution

    • Manage benefits administration, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely updates

    • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits, providing clear and accurate responses

    • Manage FMLA requests and other employee relation issues, ensuring compliance and fair treatment

    • Regularly monitor and review employee accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience with Paylocity and processing payroll

    • Strong Communication skills are a must.

    • Must have a thorough understanding of Compliance regulations and procedures.

    • Experience in managing Employee Relations is required.

    • Knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is necessary.

    • Ability to handle Paycheck related tasks efficiently
