Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our mid-sized law firm client's dynamic legal team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will focus on providing exceptional legal services in insurance coverage analysis, litigation, and related areas. This is a hybrid/remote position offering a collaborative work environment and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues and applicable laws.

• Draft comprehensive legal briefs, pleadings, and other court-related documents.

• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to ensure progress on cases.

• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation, under the guidance of senior attorneys.

• Provide strategic advice to clients regarding potential risks and legal options in insurance-related matters.

• Utilize case management and document management software to organize and track case progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.

• Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance law and industry trends to better serve clients.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing insurance coverage law, including litigation.

• Active license to practice law in at least one of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, with a clean disciplinary record.

• Demonstrated expertise in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

• Familiarity with case management and document management software.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented legal environment.

• Experience with civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
