    Description

    Responsibilities:

    + Works closely with customers and discusses our discounts.

    + Resolves issues about any of our discounts or programs.

    + Reaches out to customers and sets appointments.

    + Cross-sells to our customers with regards to the Multi-Line discount.

    + Handles incoming calls and answers any questions.

    + Collects payments and makes policy changes.

    + Sets up bill accounts and works on other simple billing requests.

    + Submits claims paperwork that is requested by the claim’s representatives.

    + Provides proof of insurance documents that are requested by clients.

    + May assist with INFB Health Plans.

    + Any additional duties assigned by management.

    Requirements for Success:

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    + 3 years of customer service experience, insurance experience preferred.

    + Property & Casualty insurance license required or must be able to obtain this license within a year.

    + Working knowledge of Farm Bureau discounts and programs or ability to learn this information quickly.

    + Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.

    + Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Ability to interact professionally with our internal and external clients.

    + Proficient in using Android and Apple phones.

    + Ability to have patience and understanding in guiding customers through technology.
