    Job Summary

    Oversees and coordinates the operations of the Quality department. Performs daily functions associated with the overall Quality Department.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    + Performs all duties of Quality Specialist and Associate

    + Trains and oversees the Training of Quality Specialist and Associate

    + Assist Quality Manager when necessary

    + Coordinate Communications between departments

    + Coordinate Quality initiatives throughout the company

    + Direct the investigation and resolve quality issues throughout the company

    + Continuous improvement projects

    + Reports progress on issues to management

    + Maintain a positive working relationship with Suppliers and customers

    + Responsible for managing internal and external audits

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualification and Skills

    + Minimum high school degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred

    + 8 yrs. min Quality experience required

    + Management experience required

    + Experienced in relationship building

    + Organized and accurate

    + High level of professionalism

    + Must be detail oriented

    + Ability to communicate with internal and external customers/suppliers

    + Proficient computer software skills (Microsoft products)

    + ASQ Certification is a plus

    Physical Requirements

    + This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
