• Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver

    Power-Flo Technologies (New Hyde Park, NY)


    Power-Flo Technologies is now hiring a full-time warehouse associate / backup driver to join our New Hyde Park team! We are the premier provider of supplies, services, and solutions- housing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing supplies.

     

    Full-Time. Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM.

     

    This position is mainly warehouse responsibilities with the ability to act as a backup driver (16 - 18 foot box trucks) as needed.

    Key Responsibilities :

    + Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving (as needed), organizing etc.

    + Pull and stage orders for shipment

    + Organize Inventory

    + Cycle Count

    + Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles

    + Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicle (box trucks and vans)

    + Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders (as needed)

    Requirements :

    + Box Truck experience required (16-18 ft or larger). No CDL required.

    + Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed (no CDL required)

    + 1+ years of warehouse experience required

    + Experience with cycle counting, consolidation, and inventory management.

    + Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds

    + Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies

    + Ability to work well independently and on a team, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn

    + Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills

    + Forklift experience a plus

    + Experience with UPS, DHL, and/or FedEx a plus

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

     

    Salary Range: $16.50 - $20/hour
