In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ ETL Development & Management: Design, build, optimize, and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to efficiently move and transform data from various sources into our data warehouse and data lake. Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability throughout the process.
+ Data Analysis & SQL Expertise: Write complex, performant SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes. Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and correlations within the data.
+ BI & Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and visually compelling insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Data Architecture Understanding: Work closely with data engineers and architects, leveraging your understanding of data warehouse schemas (e.g., star, snowflake) and data lake structures to access and utilize data effectively. Contribute to discussions on data modeling and architecture improvements.
+ Insight Generation & Communication: Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities through data exploration. Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to various audiences, including senior leadership.
+ Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, finance) to understand their data needs and deliver analytical solutions. Potentially mentor junior analysts and share best practices.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for ETL processes, data models, analysis methodologies, and report definitions.
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $137,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 5+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence engineer, or similar role.
+ Proven, strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
+ Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using relevant tools or scripting languages.
+ Hands-on experience creating dashboards and reports using leading BI tools (Tableau and/or Power BI strongly preferred).
+ Experience working with and analyzing time-series data.
+ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data lake architectures.
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
+ Master's degree in a related quantitative field.
+ Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
+ Experience with specific ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Airflow, dbt).
+ Programming skills for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
+ Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques.
+ Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
