Quality Engineering Technician

Honeywell is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician. As a Quality Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance with customer requirements. You will work closely with Account Managers, R&D Engineering and Quality Engineering teams to ensure customer specification parameters are properly implemented and contribute to the overall quality control process.
You will report directly to our Quality Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Spokane, WA location.
In this role, you will impact the success of our products by reviewing customer specifications, implementing requirements into parameters used to verify compliance, Certificate of Analysis reporting, maintaining and controlling all customer specification documents and approvals. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
+ Receive, review and respond to new or revised customer specifications from Account Managers.
+ Create Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) and route all new or revised customer specifications for review by team.
+ Input and create parameter list (for test requirements) in system based on customer specification requirements or input from Research & Development Engineer (R&D).
+ Create Specification Review Letter (SRL) and provide to account manager for communication with customers.
+ Create electronic Certificate Of Analysis (eCOA) templates for customers as required.
+ Link and maintain specifications with parts in system.
+ Document customer approvals of exceptions in system.
+ Create and revise Label templates for shipping per customer requirements.
+ Provide and manage Process Change Notification (PCN) requirements for customers and provide to Engineering (Process Engineer or R&D), or Account Manager as requested.
+ Review and set-up new part creation/specifications in system.
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm [Hours may be adjustable to accommodate departments]
Salary: $18.75-$23.07 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

You Must Have:
+ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Prioritize work and workflow
+ Experience with various computer systems and programs (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, etc)
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work with limited supervision and achieve deadlines
We Value:
+ Prior experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
+ SAP (or similar ERP experience)
+ Associate’s degree (or higher) in EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering), Business Management (BM) or related fields
+ Experience with quality assurance processes and tools
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Code or specification review and blueprint reading experience
