    In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

    As a Sr. Finance Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex financial data sets to provide valuable insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization will contribute to the success of our organization. You will report directly to our Data Analytics Manager and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a hybrid work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by transforming raw financial data into actionable information. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. Your work will contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and help drive business growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Analyze large and complex financial data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

    + Develop statistical models and algorithms to facilitate financial data analysis.

    + Create data visualizations and reports to communicate financial findings to stakeholders.

    + Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

    + Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through financial data analysis.

     

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 3+ years of experience in financial data analysis or a related field.

    + Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    WE VALUE

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

    + Experience with financial data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

    + Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques.

    + Familiarity with financial data cleaning and transformation processes.
