• Simulator Technician III

    A Simulator Technician III in the aviation industry is a senior-level specialist responsible for the expert maintenance, diagnostics, and enhancement of advanced flight simulation systems. This role requires a deep understanding of simulator components, including motion systems, visual displays, avionics interfaces, and complex software environments.

    Responsibilities

    + The Technician III leads troubleshooting efforts for high-level technical issues, oversees system upgrades and modifications, and ensures strict compliance with FAA Part 60 and other regulatory requirements.

    + They often mentor junior technicians, coordinate simulator certification processes, and collaborate closely with engineering teams, OEMs, and training personnel to ensure maximum simulator availability and performance.

    + Extensive experience with flight simulation technology, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects independently are critical in this role.
