This position will perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance tasks to support a fleet of MH-139 at Malmstrom AFB, Montana in accordance with United States Air Force approved maintenance procedures and the Supplier approved Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) MH-139A maintenance procedures, as well as other documented maintenance and support procedures. Responsibilities

+ Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.

+ Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.

+ Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.

+ Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.

+ Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, and polishing and lapping compounds.

+ Performs work under general supervision.

+ Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

+ Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Qualifications

+ Secret Clearance (interim Secret to start).

+ HS diploma or equivalent.

+ Technicians must have previous helicopter experience with a minimum of four (4) years aviation experience.

+ Must be able to pass DOT ground support physical.
