Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer
Role Type : Long term 12 + months contract
Great opportunity with Enterprise Healthcare client
Seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer with a strong data science foundation and a focus on engineering. This role emphasizes building, scaling, optimizing, and deploying machine learning pipelines and models in production environments. Strong Python and AI/ML expertise is essential. Experience with AWS Cloud is required; generative AI background is a plus.
PURPOSE:
Leads proliferation of machine learning and artificial intelligence throughout the enterprise. Identifies and solves business problems by using various numerical techniques, algorithms, and models in statistical modeling, machine learning, operations research, and data mining. Uses advanced analytical capabilities to support data science initiatives. Communicates across product teams and with customers and educates on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical models. Leads interactions between analytics, business units and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, build, and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines.
+ Deploy scalable AI/ML solutions using Python and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize models and ensure performance and reliability.
+ Optimize existing workflows and systems for efficiency and scalability.
+ Contribute to our Generative AI track; background in GenAI is a plus.
Qualifications:
+ Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
+ Proven experience deploying and scaling machine learning models in production environments.
+ Solid understanding of data science principles, though this is primarily an engineering role.
+ Hands-on experience with AWS services (not limited to SageMaker).
+ Familiarity with Generative AI concepts or applications is a plus.
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
In Lieu of Education:
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
