Job Summary:

The Sterile Supply Associate-Educator will provide oversight of Downtown, 550 Harrison, and Community Campus education for Sterile Processing. This position is responsible for education and orientation development, planning and implementation, and also will monitor and report quality outcomes within the department and to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and 1 year surgical technology or sterile processing experience in a healthcare related setting (preferably acute care) or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of surgical instrumentation/equipment and sterile processing equipment/processes required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with education and quality improvement/assurance and monitoring preferred. Certification as a sterile processing technician strongly preferred. If not certified as a sterile processing technician, will be required to obtain within 18 months of hire date. Previous supervisory and administrative experience preferred.

Work Days:

Mon-Fri days, weekends and holidays rotating based on department need
