Seeking a **Production Assistant Planner/Buyer** for a 3 month-temporary assignment with an eyewear manufacturing client in the Lake Forest, CA area. The ideal candidate will have a at least a 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role and possess SAP Materials Managing and or SAP Production Planning experience.
Responsibilities for the **_Assistant Planner/Buyer_** include but are not limited to:
+ Schedule the planning and procuring material requirements for various eyewear categories.
+ Work alongside Planners to support production plans that drive optimal inventory levels.
+ Procures maintenance materials and services.
+ Builds partnerships with internal clients and local suppliers.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in Production purchasing and/or planning
+ Experience with SAP MM, PP and/or BW
+ Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and basic MS applications
Desired Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering or related field
+ MRP experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience

**Pay Details:** $29.75 per hour
